    The library is open to members of the public who would like to use the library collections, free of charge. First-time visitors will need to fill in an application form for a reader's pass, and provide identification. See Readers' Application Form [PDF] and Readers' Information [PDF] for more details.

    The library opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 12.30 pm and 1.30pm to 4.45pm. All visits to the library are by appointment only.

    Visiting Fellowships

    It is possible to apply for 1-3 month visiting fellowships at Chawton House Library: further details can be found here.
